TalentIQ is operated by Jazbury Ltd. We operate recruitment events and recruitment related services in Ireland. This privacy notice explains how TalentIQ collects and uses personal information when you register for one of our events, submit your CV or sign up to receive updates from us by email. TalentIQ is committed to protecting your personal information when you use our services.

Personal information as used in this Privacy Policy refers to information such as your name, email address, mailing address, education, employment history or telephone number that can be used to identify you. You may also provide additional personal information such as gender, town or city of residence, career or training interests and any other information you choose to upload when submitting your CV.

Personal data under data protection legislation includes your image, both moving and still. If you attend one of our events, we may take photographs or video footage which may be used for our promotional purposes, including on social media and our website.

This Privacy Policy and our Data Protection Policy are guided by the GDPR (2016/679), the Irish Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 and SI 336 of 2011 – European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011.

1. What information will we collect about you

• Newsletter signup information including name and email address
• Event registration data including name, email, gender, age, nationality, town or city, education level, career interests, LinkedIn profile and CV
• CV submission data including employment and education history
• Event attendance and media data including photographs or video
• Website usage and technical data including IP address and browser information

2. Use of a third party data processor: Beamian

We use Beamian as a third party data processor for event registration, CV uploads, storage and secure sharing of CVs with exhibitors via QR code scanning. TalentIQ remains the Data Controller and Beamian acts as our Data Processor under a GDPR compliant Data Processing Agreement.

3. How we use your information

• Register you for events and issue tickets or QR codes
• Verify attendance
• Store and manage CVs submitted for events
• Share your CV with exhibitors only when you explicitly consent
• Send event updates and newsletters where subscribed
• Improve our services and events
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Who we share your data with

• Exhibitors, only when you consent via QR scanning
• Beamian for registration and secure processing
• Third party service providers such as email, hosting and analytics providers
• Legal or statutory authorities where required

4.1 Newsletter subscriptions

When you sign up for our newsletter, your data is stored with our email marketing provider Brevo, which processes data in accordance with GDPR and solely on our instructions.

4.2 Event attendance

When attending a TalentIQ event, photographs or video may be taken by our staff or contracted professionals. We do not tag or name individuals without consent and will remove images upon request.

4.3 CV submissions

When you submit your CV, it may be shared with Recruit.ie, a recruitment partner of TalentIQ, for the purpose of matching candidates with suitable opportunities. CVs are stored securely using Beamian, Brixly and Hosting Ireland.

4.4 Website visits

When you visit our website, technical data may be collected and processed by our hosting provider Brixly and analytics providers such as Google Analytics.

5. Lawful basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of consent, performance of a contract and legitimate interests. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary. CVs are retained for up to three years following last contact unless you request deletion sooner.

7. How we use your information

• To communicate with you about TalentIQ events and services
• To support your search for employment
• To share your CV with partners where appropriate
• To promote our events using images or testimonials where consented

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to request data portability.

9. Partner data processors

Our data processors include Eventbookings, Beamian, Brixly, Hosting Ireland, Brevo, Google Analytics and Recruit.ie.

We implement organisational and technical safeguards including encryption, access controls and secure disposal procedures.
